Peer-to-Peer Networks WA Website – Now Live!

The Peer-to-Peer Networks WA project team is delighted to announce that our new website is now live and chock-full of information!

The aim of our website is to provide a starting point for current and future peer network groups in WA, as well as people with a disability, their families and carers,  to have access to information, support, resources and guidance around all things NDIS and the ‘How To’ of starting up their own peer network group in their local community.

On Wednesday 28 November 2018 at Valued Lives’ Annual General Meeting, the Honourable Stephen Dawson MLC launched the Peer-to-Peer Networks WA Project which will build on peer led support initiatives that include; developing and supporting local peer support networks, individual peer-to-peer consultations and Peer-to-Peer Networks WA Planning Cafe’s state wide. We will continue to co-design the activities of the project with people with a disability their families/carers to ensure that peer networks are run by you, for you.

The challenge in creating a website is always to ensure that it is user-friendly, with relevant content presented in such a way as to remain in keeping with the project’s vision and mission.  We hope we have achieved this; however, we are always open to improving this site for you and all constructive feedback and ideas are welcome – just fill out our feedback form that is on the contact page of the website.

We hope that you not only enjoy our website, but that you find it helpful, with up-to-the-minute NDIS information and resources on peer networking in Western Australia.

In addition to the website now being live our 1800 number (1800 844 933) is up and running, as well as our Facebook page which is already providing support and up-to-date information about the NDIS in WA.
